About the event
Housing is a challenge in our Mt Washington Valley, especially with access and affordability. What
could housing in Ossipee look like? Carroll County officials have authorized the Mt Washington
Valley Housing Coalition to lead a design charrette to explore possibilities for land that is currently
part of the Carroll County complex, adjacent to the county offices and nursing home. A charrette is a collaborative process bringing together elected and volunteer community leaders
with representatives from industries such as real estate, building and others. While our charette is
open to the public, we especially would like a wider variety of organizations – from human services,
education, churches, and others – to participate since the impact of land use and development goes
far beyond how many residences are built and how many people move in.
We encourage you to attend one or both listening sessions as well as the public reveal and to share
these dates with your members. Your leadership and insight are invaluable to our community; your
participation will greatly enhance the discussions and outcomes of these sessions.
If you have any questions, feel free to email at josh@pinkhamrealestate.com or contact Sara

participation.
